Unilag Student gets Electrocuted due to schools carelessness

A 300-level student of Accounting of the University of Lagos, Oluchi Anekwe. According to the eyewitness was on Tuesday night electrocuted to death in her hostel when a high tension wire fell.

She was on her way to her room in Sodeinde Residence, New Hall, when she was electrocuted.

She was immediately rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

According to eyewitnesses, the pole had been given off sparks recently around the school but was authorities took it for granted.
